Why Extra Adapters?

If you own or use more than one vacuum / extractor, then it’s recommended to have more than one adapter.
You will always connect where possible the large end of the adapter to the XtraHand, this allows maximum airflow to travel through the tool, so for example, if you use a Henry Numatic Vacuum, you will need to remove the first small section of the adapter with a sharp knife so as it fits tightly into the Henry vacuum hose, (Click Here to see our Videos Page) this adapter will then be incompatible with the Festool Midi range of vacuum extractors, as the Festool connects to the small section of the adapter.
The adapters are also useful for attaching other tools to your vacuum or extractor.

What’s in the Box?

You will receive two Professional flexible Tapered Hose Adapters.

There are two very deliberate reasons the design of our Pro Hose Adapter is different from standard Hose adapters on the market.

Firstly, is the material, most of the adapters that are currently available are made from a rigid ABS plastic, which means they have no flexibility and can be difficult or near impossible to connect to some mainstream power tool extraction ports and hoses.

Unlike these standard hose adapters, our custom made adapters have been manufactured from TPE, this is a flexible rubber material which allows the Pro Hose Adapter to expand and contract under tension and produces a far better friction fit.

Secondly, standard hose adapters are manufactured with square edged stepped sections of various diameters, whereas the Pro Hose Adapter by DrillBuddy has been manufactured with tapered leading edges to each and every external stepped section, this provides an almost effortless and frustration free compression fitting to slightly oversized or undersized ports and hoses.

This really does make our Pro Hose Adapter extremely versatile, which in turn increases its functionality for more of your power tool dust ports.
